Custodial Operations Supervisor Job Overview

The Custodial Operations Supervisor role is designed to offer leadership and support to team members, particularly those with disabilities, in order to cultivate essential work skills and enhance their communication capabilities within a professional environment. By providing mentorship and direction, team members can expand their knowledge and interpersonal skills, opening doors to various career growth opportunities within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing, organizing, and coordinating activities to meet operational objectives.
  • Evaluating completed tasks for quality assurance.
  • Recognizing and addressing the developmental needs of staff.
  • Providing training on specific job functions.
  • Resolving issues and escalating them when necessary.
  • Tracking staff attendance and performance metrics.
  • Assessing leave requests and offering recommendations.
  • Collaborating with Employment Services to ensure compliance with program standards.
Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: At least 2 years in cleaning services, ideally in a supervisory capacity.
Skills:
  • Knowledge of industrial cleaning products and equipment.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Ability to engage effectively with individuals with disabilities.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
