Janitorial Site Supervisor/Federal Contract Lead

The Janitorial Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the execution of janitorial services at federal contract locations. This role involves leading a team of employees to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly supervise assigned employees and operations at contract sites, performing general custodial cleaning according to contract specifications and timelines.
- Receive direct supervision from the Manager of Janitorial Services and/or Director of Facilities Operations.
- Complete site-specific tracking, including daily services checklists, inspections, inventory analysis, quality monitoring, and employee performance feedback.
- Perform hands-on cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, general cleaning, buffing, carpet cleaning, and stripping and waxing.
- Meet all requirements outlined in the scope of work, adhering to timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain inventory levels and effectively communicate replenishment needs.
- Develop corrective and preventative action plans to address performance issues.
- Train and develop assigned employees to complete various custodial duties to acceptable quality levels.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience overseeing a team of workers performing janitorial, custodial, environmental facility maintenance, or related experience.
- 2+ years of multi-site facilities management experience preferred.
- Federal contracting experience preferred.
- CIMS certification or Lead Building experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive federal and state background check.
- May be required to pass a Dept. of Defense Federal Clearance Check, depending on assignment.
Physical Requirements:
- Distribute and utilize equipment and work materials, which frequently include lifting, carrying, pushing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing.
- Move and lift weights up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
- Work independently, utilize good judgment, and possess a strong sense of initiative.
- Communicate clearly in oral and written form on a constant basis.
- Operate maintenance equipment, including carpet shampooer and buffing machine.
Shift hours: 10:30am-2pm, Monday-Friday
22.5 hours per week
