Job Title: Labor & Employment Associate Attorney

A leading California Labor & Employment law firm is seeking an associate attorney with a strong academic background, experience in civil litigation, and a passion for helping employees protect their rights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all aspects of litigation, including written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and settlement negotiation and/or trial preparation.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys and take on significant responsibility as the direct contact for clients.
  • Draft relevant legal correspondence, conduct depositions, attend hearings and court appearances, and prepare for trials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Member and in good standing of the California State Bar.
  • 2-5 years of civil litigation experience, preferably in plaintiff wage and hour, discrimination, harassment, or related labor and employment disputes.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks throughout litigation while meeting deadlines efficiently.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work well on a team.
