About the Role

The Client Services Specialist will collaborate with wealth managers to handle daily investment operation-related tasks, which encompass hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds.

This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including financial advisors, legal teams, and client services teams, as well as external entities such as investment managers, administrators, and custodians, to guarantee that our clients receive prompt, high-quality, and compliant documentation and service execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute relevant investment documentation, including subscription documents, redemption notices, investment agreements, side letters, and transfer agreements.
  • Engage with investment managers, administrators, wealth managers, and custodians regarding private investment tasks and inquiries.
  • Collect and maintain client information necessary for completing subscription documents.
  • Coordinate with wealth managers and clients for document review and signatures.
  • Assist with capital calls and distributions related to private investments.
  • Review and analyze documents and key provisions associated with private investments to comprehend the terms and conditions.
  • Document policies and procedures while monitoring compliance.
  • Design and implement process improvements and utilize technology to enhance efficiency.
  • Address ad hoc private investment-related tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • 1-5 years of experience in client service or a relevant financial industry role is preferred.
  • Exceptional client relationship skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain outstanding client service.
  • Highly organized and self-driven, capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting urgent deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Wealth Management products, policies, and practices.
  • Understanding of alternative investment lifecycles is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy while maintaining an organized approach to responsibilities.
  • Commitment to collaboration and the ability to thrive in a team setting while also working independently.
  • Proactive in assessing and addressing client and company needs.
  • Aptitude for evaluating, managing, and resolving unexpected and complex situations.
  • High degree of flexibility and professionalism in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable with learning and utilizing new technologies to drive efficiency and scalability.

Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $55,000. iCapital provides a comprehensive compensation package that includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.

Each department has unique needs, and some positions will be designated as in-office roles based on their function.
