Patient Intake Specialist

About the Role:
- Provide leadership and guidance to the admissions department, ensuring seamless communication with referral agencies and internal staff.
- Develop and implement effective admissions processes, aligning with facility policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records, including patient intake forms, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Typing speed of 50 wpm required; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.
- Ability to read, interpret documents, and communicate effectively with clients, employees, and external partners.
- Familiarity with managed care organizations and ability to solve practical problems in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits:
- A competitive hourly rate of $23.15-$26.13, commensurate with experience.
- An excellent benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, life insurance, long-term disability, and EAP.
