Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and coordinate the busy schedules of three publicists and their clients, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
- Monitor press clippings for clients, track media impressions, and create coverage reports and grids to analyze and optimize their media presence.
- Collaborate with the team to select promotional clip suggestions and brainstorm pitch angles to secure media coverage.
- Handle incoming press requests and pitch stories to media outlets, ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Update and maintain media lists, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
- Review and edit press materials, including press releases and alerts, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Ensure press kits are current and up-to-date.
- Respond to client and industry interactions via phone and email, providing exceptional customer service.
- Create and edit client press schedules, ensuring timely and efficient communication.
- Connect press phone interviews for clients, ensuring seamless coordination.
- Provide administrative support, including setting up conference calls, meetings, taking notes, and managing expenses.
- Book travel arrangements and create detailed travel itineraries for clients and publicists.
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in publicity or talent agency.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in AP style.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks accurately.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Self-directed, proactive, and eager to learn, with a desire for a long-term career in entertainment publicity.
- Knowledge and interest in music, sports, and new media.
