Business Development Specialist for Federal Programs

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Specialist to join our team at Ridgeline International, Inc. This individual will be responsible for cultivating and sustaining a new business pipeline within specific client segments, including the Defense and Federal sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and revenue in the federal programs space.
- Interact with current and prospective clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Partner with senior leadership to plan and prioritize business capture initiatives.
- Work closely with technical teams to develop entry strategies for new products.
- Collaborate with Client Delivery and Operations to better understand market dynamics and boost sales in the area.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors to refine market positioning and capture market share.
- Assist in producing business development materials, such as white papers and proposals.
- Work with the Finance team to ensure our products and services are priced competitively.
- Participate in wider business development efforts and program management as required.
Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or comparable military experience.
- Profound understanding of both technical and operational facets important to our clients.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and effectiveness in dealing with U.S. government clients.
- Proven track record in spearheading $1m+ opportunities from inception to proposal stage.
- Familiarity with competitors and a nuanced understanding of market dynamics.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; adept at presenting to high-level executives and government officials.
- Capacity to pinpoint growth opportunities and generate new business in line with Ridgeline's offerings and strategic objectives.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office.
- Constantly work with computers and other office productivity equipment.
