House Manager Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced House Manager to join our team at Harper Associates. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our busy Executives and their family.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive House Manual to ensure seamless household operations
  • Manage the family calendar, including scheduling appointments and events
  • Handle financial transactions, including payments to vendors and monthly accounting
  • Coordinate with service contractors for pool, landscape, and maintenance services
  • Provide pet care, including walking the dog and arranging veterinary appointments
  • Supervise the part-time housekeeper and ensure the household runs smoothly
  • Shop for groceries and prepare light meals
  • Maintain inventory of household items and supplies
  • Pack for family trips and handle travel arrangements
  • Manage household finances, including purchasing and returning items
  • Coordinate gift management and special events
  • Transport the 10-year-old child to after-school and summer activities
  • Organize the home and ensure it remains tidy and organized
  • Schedule car maintenance and other household tasks
  • Oversee dry cleaning and laundry services
  • Run errands and complete miscellaneous tasks as needed

Requirements:

We are looking for a highly organized and discreet individual who can maintain confidentiality and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and be able to use their discretion to ensure the smooth operation of the household.

What We Offer:
