Clinical Care Coordinator for Postoperative Surgical Unit

The Baptist Health System, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the 5H postoperative surgical acute care unit. This unit specializes in colorectal surgery patient populations and provides comprehensive ERAS protocols with great quality outcomes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Registered Nurse who will coordinate, ensure, and provide direct patient care activities on the unit through provision of nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities; provision of patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position working nights with a salary of $30,000 including a sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates. As a clinical nurse, this individual will spend more than 50% of their time coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care activities on the unit.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky
  • Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university
  • Basic life support
  • ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment
