Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our medical-surgical-telemetry unit.

Job Overview:

We are a 23-bed post interventional telemetry unit serving patients who have undergone cardiac catheterization procedures, including interventional procedures and electrophysiology.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement professional nursing practice centered on the patient as a whole person and the creation of a caring environment focused on healing and wellness.
  • Honor patients' mind, body, and spirit by respecting human dignity and the uniqueness of each individual.
  • Provide clinical decision-making that incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and creativity.
  • Care for patients and families through provision of nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments, as well as facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities.
  • Coordinate individualized treatment planning and provide patient and family-centered education.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky
  • Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university
  • Basic life support certification
  • ACLS/PALS/NRP and dysrhythmia class completion (as required by department)

Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
