POSITION: Field Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to enhance our dedicated team.
This position involves significant travel for the installation, servicing, and commissioning of shot blasting machinery.
Your role will be pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring service excellence that fosters customer satisfaction, loyalty, and overall company profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide technical support and client assistance during field operations by assessing system needs, diagnosing issues, addressing concerns, identifying effective solutions, conducting tests, and resolving technical challenges.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries via technical support channels.
  • Execute the installation of new equipment and oversee on-site start-ups.
  • Maintain client confidentiality by safeguarding service details.
  • Develop daily operational schedules.
  • Formulate travel itineraries.
  • Establish strong client relationships by recommending system enhancements, identifying solutions, addressing complaints, and proposing improved methods and practices.
  • Document installation and service activities through comprehensive reports and logs.
  • During downtime, assist in the Assembly Department with the construction of new machinery as needed.
  • Foster positive client interactions.

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant service experience is required.
  • Proficiency in electronics and mechanical systems is essential.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems is necessary.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and conduct tests is required.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts is essential.
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision is necessary.
