Position Overview

We are in search of a dynamic and resourceful Senior Vice President of Portfolio Management. This role is crucial in delivering exceptional financial modeling and accounting expertise for our firm and its associated portfolio entities. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning deal execution with management oversight, ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership of portfolio companies to establish top-tier accounting and financial procedures, including the monthly closing process and financial reporting.
  • Oversee working capital, credit facilities, and cash management, including maintaining a rolling cash forecast.
  • Work alongside deal teams and portfolio company executives to formulate annual budgets, forecasts, and conduct variance analysis.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of portfolio company performance to identify improvement areas and growth potential.
  • Create and implement industry-leading KPIs, dashboards, and metrics for board presentations.
  • Partner with senior leadership to devise and execute strategic plans aimed at maximizing investment returns.
  • Co-lead initiatives for strategic value creation, post-acquisition synergies, and optimization of capital expenditures.
  • Engage in process optimization, system implementation, and enhancements of internal controls within portfolio companies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting, financial analysis, or consulting, demonstrating a track record of detailed execution and increased responsibilities.
  • CPA designation is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, complemented by excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A dedicated work ethic, commitment to team enhancement, and proficient problem-solving skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to thrive in a dynamic organization.
  • Understanding of financial statement mechanics and enterprise value within the private equity landscape.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
