Position Overview

RNDC is seeking a motivated, strategic, and professional Logistics Operations Supervisor to enhance our growing Operations team. The Logistics Operations Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the operational activities of delivery personnel and equipment by executing the following responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implements supervisory duties in alignment with the organization's policies and relevant laws. May be responsible for recommending performance management actions, including selection, hiring, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
  • Manages all facets of the product delivery operations and customer interactions.
  • Oversees the routing of delivery vehicles utilizing the computerized Roadnet routing system and assigns drivers and helpers to each route daily.
  • Continuously updates, reviews, and establishes delivery routes throughout the day using the GreenMile driver tracking software.
  • Monitors driving performance for each driver using Geotab telematics software.
  • Accompanies drivers to observe work practices and identify areas for improvement, providing training as necessary.
  • Educates drivers on safe driving practices, proper lifting techniques, and company delivery processes, while collaborating with internal departments and customers to resolve delivery issues as they arise.
  • Enforces all company safety and security policies and may occasionally be required to operate a delivery route as business needs dictate.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school is preferred.
  • Three or more years of relevant experience, including two to three years in transportation and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license.
  • CDL License is required.
  • Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as mandated by state regulations (e.g., TABC License - Texas).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Prior experience in the Wine and Spirits sector.
  • WSET certifications.
