About You
As a member of the People team, you will be instrumental in sourcing, screening, and interviewing exceptional talent for Lugano. You will be the first point of contact for candidates, playing a vital role in narrating the Lugano story and tailoring the message for diverse skill sets. The Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates closely with the Director of Talent Acquisition to identify outstanding individuals who will fulfill our company's current and future needs. Success in this position involves comprehensive recruitment processes, exceptional organizational skills, effective schedule management, and strong communication abilities to engage with all levels of the organization.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with Hiring Managers to develop a strategic hiring plan and create compelling job descriptions that attract top-tier talent.
- Source, coordinate, and conduct preliminary screening interviews with candidates whose qualifications align closely with the role requirements, assessing their fit for various positions within the organization.
- Develop effective skills assessments and interview questions for managers to utilize during the selection process.
- Establish a comprehensive hiring plan with hiring managers, including interview teams, schedules, and regular check-ins.
- Maintain proactive communication with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
- Oversee the offer process, including drafting and extending offers, as well as managing negotiations.
- Ensure the applicant tracking system is accurate and up-to-date.
- Achieve and surpass key performance indicators related to specific hiring metrics.
- Work with Hiring Managers to identify team needs and create relevant job descriptions.
- Schedule and conduct initial screening interviews with candidates, remaining open to assessing their suitability for various roles within the organization.
- Research optimal candidate sourcing channels, including job fairs, educational institutions, professional associations, networking events, specialized job boards, and recruitment agencies.
- Coordinate interview schedules with Hiring Managers and interview panels.
- Maintain prompt communication with candidates throughout the interview process and take ownership of the offer procedure.
- Assist with special projects in support of the People Team.
- A deep understanding of the role and a passion for identifying the right candidate for each position.
- A proven track record of delivering an exceptional candidate experience consistently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and projects effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to navigate the offer process to successfully conclude the hiring journey.
- Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
- A curious mindset, research capabilities, and a business-oriented approach.
The targeted base salary is $100,000, in addition to an annual bonus. The total compensation package is influenced by factors such as work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Our Work Environment
Our workplace is organized, well-lit, and ventilated, adhering to safety standards. Noise levels are low, and daily physical activities are light, primarily involving office work with occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, or walking. Employees should be prepared for the possibility of extended hours if required. Work hours and days may vary based on the position.
