Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and engage in the implementation of human resources programs, including talent acquisition, employee engagement, HRIS management, benefits administration, training and development, and employee relations.
- Oversee local onboarding processes, including the identification of new hire mentors and the scheduling of orientation sessions.
- Participate in recruitment activities, which encompass sourcing and screening candidates, arranging interviews, coordinating travel, and performing reference and background checks.
- Maintain the internal Onboarding/Offboarding calendar and conduct exit interviews.
- Lead college recruitment efforts in California, attend career fairs, establish connections with college faculty and student organizations, and collaborate with team members to manage our Summer Internship program.
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and state benefit and leave programs.
- Manage state-mandated training initiatives and support firm-wide development programs.
- Stay informed about California employment laws and collaborate with the Office President to ensure compliance.
- Facilitate the California Employment Training Panel Funding program.
- Address employee relations concerns and conduct investigations as necessary.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR or SHRM-CP) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of California labor laws, federal regulations, and compliance standards.
- Strong foundation in HRIS, with UltiPro Payroll/HRIS experience being a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and demonstrate a high level of professionalism.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
