Retail and Customer Service Specialist

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering girls to become confident leaders. Our mission is to provide opportunities for girls to develop essential life skills, build lasting friendships, and make a positive impact in their communities. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Care & Retail Specialist.
About the Job
This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Welcome and build relationships with volunteers, members, and others visiting the Girl Scout Leadership Center.
- Delight customers with excellent service.
- Complete retail transactions with a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Create attractive and tidy merchandise displays in the retail store.
- Monitor shop inventory levels and work with Retail Manager to order as needed.
- Fulfill and ship online retail orders.
- Maintain an organized front-desk area, managing incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and orders.
- Accurately complete retail paperwork such as purchase orders and daily deposits.
- Work with colleagues leading Girl Scout events to order and distribute the badges earned.
- Provide a retail shopping experience at Girl Scout programs held at Leadership Centers, camps, and other venues.
- Respond to phone calls and emails from members and customers, using council resources to find answers and provide assistance, logging interactions in Salesforce.
- Assist customers with general questions about Girl Scouts and our mission.
