Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Consultation: Provide sales consultation, design, support, and management of customer activity involving collaboration, enterprise networking, data solutions, and security products and services.
  • Business Development: Establish, maintain, and develop business with customers and potential customers in the assigned business sectors to enhance the potential for meeting the objectives of maximum profitability and growth.
  • Sales Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales forecasting capability and an active reporting procedure in accordance with ConvergeOne's standards.
  • Business Planning: Develop, implement, and execute a Business Plan that is consistent with short-range and long-range company objectives and assigned targets.
  • C-Level Business Discussions: Conduct C-level business discussions to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Technical Competency: Develop and maintain technical competency in all products offered, including all solutions from represented manufacturers as well as professional services offered by ConvergeOne.
  • Relationship Building: Develop relationships with existing and potential customers to enable business growth and achieve assigned targets.
  • Customer Escalations: Expedite the resolution of customer escalations and complaints.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay well-informed on industry changes, participate in organizations directly involved with ConvergeOne's prime markets, and continually work to improve sales techniques and sales knowledge.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with supporting teams, including sales support, marketing, services, purchasing/inventory, to reach assigned targets.
  • Company Policies: Keep advised on company policies, procedures, and objectives, clarifying them with manager when and if questions arise, and be prepared to accurately discuss these policies with customers.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Engage and manage an end-to-end sales cycle, working with multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Solution Selling: Sell with a heavy emphasis on solutions offered by ConvergeOne that are consistent with assigned targets.
  • Customer Needs: Consult innovatively to offer customer solutions with technical acumen.
  • Customer Pain Points: Identify key pain points within customer bases and know how to solve them (overcome objections).
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5+ years of direct selling experience in communications and data technology.
  • Education: 4-year college degree in Business or equivalent in experience.
  • Communication Skills: Strong presentation, verbal, and communication skills.
  • Sales Ability: Demonstrates sales ability and technical aptitude.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of territory development, including new business accounts.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, sales forecasting tools.
  • Existing Contacts: Brings existing contacts/customer relationships to ConvergeOne.
  • Solution Selling Experience: Experience with solution selling with a heavy emphasis on Cloud solutions, associated MS and PS services, and other solutions offered by ConvergeOne.
  • Top Producer: Has been recognized by prior companies as a top producer (e.g., President's Club, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA: MBA degree.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience with a solutions provider similar to ConvergeOne.
