We are in search of a skilled and passionate Medical Doctor to enhance our team, providing outstanding primary care services to our varied patient demographic.

Position Summary: As a Medical Doctor at our organization, you will be instrumental in offering telemedicine and in-office primary care services. This role presents a distinctive chance to integrate contemporary telemedicine methodologies with traditional face-to-face care. We are looking for a physician who holds a valid license in their current state of residence and is capable of securing licensure in Utah. The ideal candidate will be willing to apply for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) and aspire to obtain licensure in all 50 states. Our organization will cover all licensing expenses and assist with the licensing process. We also seek a physician who is either located in Utah or is open to relocating.

Key Duties:

  • Deliver telemedicine consultations and follow-up care to patients across various states.
  • Conduct in-office primary care appointments as necessary.
  • Design and execute individualized care plans for patients, ensuring high-quality, patient-focused healthcare.
  • Provide treatment for acute illnesses in adults and children, managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma through telehealth and in-person visits.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including case managers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor growth and development, conduct limited screenings, and provide nutritional and behavioral guidance via telehealth consultations.
  • Maintain precise and timely medical records, complying with all regulatory standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest best practices in telemedicine and primary care.

Licensure Requirements:

  • Possess a full, unrestricted medical license.
  • Have graduated from an accredited medical institution or a school recognized in the International Medical Education Directory.
  • Have successfully completed ACGME- or AOA-accredited residency training.
  • Passed each segment of the USMLE, COMLEX-USA, or an equivalent predecessor exam accepted by the state medical board in no more than three attempts for each segment.
  • Hold a current specialty certification or time-unlimited certification from an ABMS or AOABOS board.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Current and unrestricted medical license in your state of residence.
  • Willingness to obtain licensure in Utah and apply for the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) for all applicable states, with the goal of achieving licensure in all 50 states.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in primary care, with substantial experience in telemedicine.
  • Experience supervising Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology effectively and working with our electronic health record system.
  • Experience in primary care and/or pediatrics.
