Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in creating survey maps and CAD drawings derived from field data, including conducting field surveys and gathering necessary information.
  • Develop and adjust detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings according to project requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with survey teams to guarantee precise and timely data collection.
  • Support senior technicians and engineers with various design and survey tasks, both in the office and in the field.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of survey results and organize project files effectively.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives concurrently.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • Physical capability to lift 50 lbs regularly and work in various weather conditions and terrains.
Preferred Skills (Training Provided)
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D for tasks such as:
    • Processing survey data and creating topographic survey models.
    • Plotting legal descriptions and establishing boundaries for various legal documents.
  • Experience with field data collection methods.
  • Knowledge of LiDAR data post-processing is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans and drawings for survey and construction staking data.
  • Experience with CADD in survey or civil engineering projects related to land development or municipal infrastructure.
