Position Overview:

Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. is seeking a Market Development Executive to enhance our operations. This role is pivotal in identifying new markets and opportunities while maintaining a robust database of business development resources to elevate company performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Guidance: Work under general direction to achieve key objectives, utilizing advanced techniques and principles. Your work will be reviewed by senior staff to ensure sound professional judgment.
  • Operational Excellence: Actively promote the firm's capabilities to attract new clients and strengthen existing relationships.

Core Duties:

  • Develop and produce qualifications packages, proposals, presentation materials, and award submissions.
  • Engage potential clients through strategic outreach via phone and email.
  • Conduct thorough research to discover innovative ways to connect with prospective clients.
  • Maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and ensure consistent follow-up.
  • Analyze and integrate various AEC technologies to enhance design workflows, aligning with client objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments to uncover client business challenges and propose tailored solutions.
  • Lead the analysis of adjacent opportunities to drive growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a professional business development capacity.
  • At least three years of practical experience within the AEC industry.
  • Experience in sales support or lead generation roles is preferred.
  • Professional registration and relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
  • Demonstrated skills in layout and production.
  • Familiarity with HTML and other design software is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • Flexible work arrangements may be available.
  • Primarily an indoor office setting with standard office equipment.
  • Mobility within the office is required.
  • Local travel may be necessary based on business needs.
