MRI Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Providence Swedish. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, conducting and performing MRI examinations, and assuming responsibility for designated areas or procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI examinations using various techniques and protocols
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Develop and implement procedures for designated areas or procedures
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring a positive experience for all patients
- Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology training program
- Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification within 1 year of hire, or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists certification within 1 year of hire
- 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist, with one year of experience in an MRI department
