Job Title: Radiology/CT Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiology/CT Technologist to join our team at St. Charles Health System. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing radiological exams, computerized tomography, and image reconstruction under the supervision of a radiologist and the CT/Radiology Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiology, computed tomography, and interventional examinations in accordance with department policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures of quality care.
  • Assist in record maintenance and statistics as requested.
  • Participate in student training programs as requested.
  • Perform C-arm cases in the operating room and medical diagnostic unit.
  • Provide coverage for computed tomography within St. Charles Health System, including on-call coverage, holiday, and weekend relief as needed.
  • Competent skills working with CT STAT RAD System.
  • Prepare for sterile and non-sterile procedures and maintain a sterile field.
  • Support the vision, mission, and values of the organization in all respects.

  • Provide and maintain a safe environment for caregivers, patients, and guests.
  • Conduct all activities with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of a certified radiologic technology training program.
  • Current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license (OBMI).
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology (RT) and Computed Tomography (CT) registry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic and advanced seminars in computerized tomography.
  • ARRT in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Work Environment:

This position requires standing and walking for long periods, keyboard operation, and the ability to hear normal speech levels. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required to perform the job safely.
