Job Summary

As a Medical Imaging Specialist at Providence St. Joseph Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality diagnostic imaging exams and radiology tasks are performed daily. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform Diagnostic imaging exams and radiology tasks with precision and accuracy.
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to department quality standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Operate PACS, RIS, CR/DR x-ray equipment, fluoroscopy, and C-arm to produce high-quality anatomical images.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Outlook and Word.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to privacy rights.

Requirements

  • Formal radiologic technology training from an AMA-approved school.
  • ARRT board certification in radiology.
  • National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EPIC/Radiant experience.
