Job Summary

At Providence Health & Service, we are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of sonographic examinations, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and small parts. You will also assist the radiologist during invasive procedures and make clinical judgments about patient conditions based on examination results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform sonographic examinations using various modalities, including ultrasound and Doppler.
  • Assist radiologists during invasive procedures, such as biopsies and aspirations.
  • Make clinical judgments about patient conditions based on examination results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
