Position Overview

The Community Outreach Manager will oversee the comprehensive outreach program, ensuring effective execution of the Field Plan while managing a team of Organizer Leads.

This role is vital in fostering community support for Working Families Party candidates through strategic voter outreach and engagement initiatives. The Community Outreach Manager will coordinate outreach activities, monitor performance metrics, and facilitate field operations in various neighborhoods.Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire outreach program, including the recruitment, training, and supervision of Organizer Leads and outreach personnel.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance voter outreach and engagement in support of Working Families Party candidates.
  • Analyze outreach data to ensure accuracy and effectiveness, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve campaign objectives.
  • Coordinate daily outreach operations, including the initiation and management of field activities in designated areas.
  • Participate in strategy meetings, offering insights and recommendations for optimizing field operations.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to bolster digital voter contact and messaging efforts.
  • Maintain data integrity on voter engagement metrics and campaign-related information.
  • Provide input on materials related to outreach, such as voter contact scripts and event descriptions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines governing outreach activities.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in political outreach or community-based engagement, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, coupled with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging and motivating diverse groups.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently while remaining accountable to campaign objectives.
  • Familiarity with voter databases and CRM tools.
  • Commitment to the development and growth of local communities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Preference for candidates with established community connections.
