Role: Back End Operations Supervisor
The Back End Operations Supervisor, reporting directly to the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, is accountable for overseeing all facets of merchandise receiving and processing. This includes ensuring that both Floor Ready and Non-Floor Ready products are efficiently prepared for the sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the backroom, adhering to detailed operational standards.
  • Manage all backroom functions, including receiving, processing, tagging, and reporting on individual productivity and overall backroom efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Manager on duty and all department team members to ensure a seamless freight flow, aiming for a Door to Floor (DTF) process within 24 hours while enhancing the customer shopping experience.
  • Ensure the backroom is adequately staffed and work with administration on any personnel needs or deficiencies.
  • Uphold and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Focus on improving store DTF efficiencies and shrink control by following established procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members regarding company policies, training materials, and directives.
  • Basic math skills for operating the register, making change, and conducting inventory.

Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 70 lbs, along with the stamina for frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
