Position Overview:


As an Area Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in enhancing the operational success of Hallcon's clients by overseeing our On-Demand Shuttle services.

This position is accountable for the daily management of field operational challenges to guarantee safe and punctual transportation services for our clientele.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the company's safety objectives, which include audits, staffing, training, and vehicle upkeep.
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels at all locations to maximize vehicle utilization and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit and train new personnel.
  • Facilitate Corrective Actions meetings with drivers.
  • Supervise all Site Supervisors, Yard Coordinators, Road Coordinators, and Drivers.
  • Uphold job performance by mentoring, advising, and disciplining local supervisors; monitor performance metrics.
  • Ensure that vehicles are clean and maintained in line with company standards.
  • Coordinate vehicle repairs with input from the Fleet Department, considering cost and service factors.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or G.E.D. is required.
A minimum of two years of management experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is necessary.

A valid Driver's License with no more than two moving violations in the past three years, no alcohol or drug-related convictions in the last three years, and no careless or reckless driving convictions in the last three years is required.
