RANAVAT Senior Manager of Retail Marketing Job Description

RANAVAT, a leading Ayurvedic beauty brand, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Retail Marketing to drive global retail partnerships and marketing initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with our retail partners, collaborating with our passionate team, and developing innovative marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute retail marketing strategies aligned with the global brand strategy to ensure local relevance and cohesiveness with brand DNA.
  • Act as the primary marketing contact for all global retail requests, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Lead monthly retailer marketing calls, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
  • Partner with directors of Marketing and Digital to build paid media strategies with our retail partners, driving brand awareness and sales.
  • Own marketing collateral for retail paid media campaigns, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • Spearhead the creation and presentation of retailer Market Week decks, adapting for each region.
  • Lead the pitching process for marketing exposure across all channels, driving brand visibility and engagement.
  • Lead the planning and strategy of wholesale mega-events, ensuring successful execution and brand representation.
  • Lead retail launch strategy for new markets, owning the onboarding, planning, and execution of new account launches.
  • Lead retailer PR seeding and events, ensuring effective brand representation and media coverage.
  • Partner with PR (in-house + external) to track and share wholesale press exposure with retailers, driving brand awareness and credibility.
  • Partner with influencers on retail-specific UGC asks, driving brand engagement and social media visibility.
  • Partner with education to secure retailer training and masterclass opportunities, enhancing brand knowledge and expertise.
  • Gather and incorporate feedback and insights from the Field to drive brand awareness and optimize eventing (or event programs).
  • Liaise with field and lead bi-weekly TBs to ensure ongoing flow of communication between field and corporate.
  • Own all marketing presentations to field for new launches, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
  • Partner with field directors on store takeovers, brand partnerships, and on-off special events, driving brand visibility and engagement.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of retail marketing experience executing marketing campaigns with national beauty retailers for a personal care products brand (e.g. beauty, wellness, CPG), preferably with a d2c brand.
  • Strong understanding of the beauty industry, with a dynamic storyteller and communicator.
  • Experience managing specialty retailers internationally, with effective people management skills to lead, develop, and mentor direct report(s).
  • Ability to travel occasionally for retailer/company meetings, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
