Job Summary

The Executive Director provides strategic leadership and direction for overall community operations at Pointe Frontier Retirement Community, ensuring the delivery of quality care and resident-centered services in accordance with all laws, regulations, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hospitality Focus: Ensure staff performs all duties with a hospitality focus, meeting and exceeding resident requests and needs.
  • Operating Margin: Achieve operating margin and cash flow goals, including budgeted revenue and expense goals.
  • Occupancy (Sales and Marketing): Serve as Sales Manager, leading the sales team to achieve marketing and occupancy goals.
  • Talent/Staffing: Interview, hire, train, evaluate, supervise, support, counsel, and develop management team members.
  • Additional Requirements: Ensure community compliance with all Federal, State, and local requirements; serve as an effective representative for Pointe Frontier Retirement Community in the surrounding community; and prepare and operate within an annual budget.
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 years of age to oversee assisted living (administrator license requirement).
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) or more years of successful operational experience in senior housing or hospitality preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience in senior services preferred.
  • Must be knowledgeable of federal and state industry regulations.
Requirements
  • Must be able to plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, benchmark, and direct staff to ensure high-quality resident care and services are delivered.
  • Must ensure community is compliant with all Federal, State, local requirements.
  • Must serve as effective representative for Pointe Frontier Retirement Community in the surrounding community.
  • Must ensure census goals are met.
  • Must prepare and operate within annual budget.
  • Must effectively supervise department directors.
  • Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude.
  • Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents.
  • Must demonstrate effective people skills with staff, residents, families, vendors, and community.
  • Must be able to read and interpret financial records and reports.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Must be knowledgeable of administration practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the senior services industry.
  • Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the administration department.
  • Must perform proficiently in all competency areas, including but not limited to: daily leadership responsibilities, supervisory responsibilities, financial responsibilities, regulatory compliance, resident rights, and safety and sanitation.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
  • Must understand and follow company policies, including harassment and compliance procedures.
  • Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Pointe Frontier Retirement Community's Code of Ethics and completes all required compliance training.
