Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Associate to provide administrative and project management support for the IDEAL Activity and its associated award, PEAKS. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project meetings, maintaining calendars, and supporting the procurement of vendors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Management and Operations (70%):
    • Organize and support IDEAL/PEAKS project meetings and take meeting notes
    • Maintain IDEAL/PEAKS project calendar for meetings, events, and travel
    • Support the procurement of vendors, consultants, and services
    • Assist in managing consultant agreements and payments
    • Aid staff and consultants in arranging travel
    • Coordinate project-wide documentation and archiving processes
    • Process invoices, accurately code and track project expenses
    • Maintain the IDEAL/PEAKS project's inventory
    • Support the IDEAL team in the planning and implementation of the closeout process
    • Support the PEAKS team in award startup processes
  • Program Implementation Support (30%):
    • Support work plan development and tracking, and program reporting
    • Support annual work planning, annual budget development, and regular internal learning processes
    • Support the planning and logistics of online and in-person knowledge sharing events and capacity strengthening workshops, including but not limited to:
      • Procurement of venue and service providers
      • Coordination with speakers
      • Preparation of event materials
Requirements
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging
Preferred Qualifications
  • Zoom, Miro, Eventbrite, and/or Mailchimp skills
  • Proficiency supporting webinars and online meetings
  • Experience working in a low-to-middle-income country
  • Understanding of international development, emergency programs, and/or food security programming
  • Familiarity with United States Government-funded projects, particularly USAID
Compensation

Save the Children is offering a competitive salary range for this position, dependent on candidate location:

National Labor Cost Average: Target hourly pay for this position is $26.95

Geo - Locations significantly below the US: Target hourly pay for this position is $24.21

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location.

Employee may be eligible for an incentive program.
