Medical Office Service Representative

Role Overview: As a Patient Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in our clinic operations by managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and addressing billing inquiries. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring patients receive the care and resources they need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate patient check-ins and appointment scheduling.
- Address and resolve billing questions and concerns.
- Maintain and manage patient medical records efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care.
- Uphold compliance with all relevant regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA.
- Participate in departmental initiatives and maintain high standards of service excellence.
Work Environment: This position will transition to a hybrid model after the initial training period, allowing for a blend of in-office and remote work.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical front desk role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical records and appointment scheduling systems.
- Knowledge of health plan insurance processes.
- Strong customer service background.
