Position Overview:

  2. Loan Structuring: Collaborate with sales personnel to design loan proposals that safeguard the bank's interests while accommodating the borrower's objectives.
  3. Client Interaction: Conduct interviews with borrowers and relevant third parties, such as accountants or financial controllers, to gather necessary information.
  4. Data Verification: Confirm the borrower's total exposure using internal systems and databases, ensuring compliance with departmental risk parameters.
  5. Credit Memorandum Preparation: Draft detailed credit memoranda that encompass financial analyses, borrower backgrounds, and cash flow evaluations for complex credit scenarios.
  6. Recommendation Submission: Present well-supported recommendations for loan approvals or denials to senior management, ensuring alignment with organizational credit policies.
  7. File Management: Maintain thorough and accurate loan documentation, ensuring all necessary authorizations and compliance measures are met prior to finalizing underwriting processes.
  8. Team Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with sales teams and internal departments to facilitate effective communication regarding credit evaluations.
  9. Process Improvement: Suggest enhancements to procedures and operations to optimize the efficiency of the credit review process.
  10. Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to junior credit officers and analysts.

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of five years in commercial credit analysis or equipment leasing.
  • Strong expertise in traditional financial analysis methodologies.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to meet critical deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
