Position Overview:
The Loan Officer Assistant plays a crucial role in managing the schedules of loan officers and supporting the Loan Partner. This position is responsible for overseeing the branch lead tracker and maintaining business relationships. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all appointments for loan officers, including new leads and follow-up meetings.
- Handle incoming calls effectively.
- Assist the Loan Partner II with administrative tasks, such as document copying and faxing.
- Organize regular weekly meetings based on branch performance metrics.
- Achieve branch goals related to pre-qualifications and pre-approvals.
- Participate in branch events to help the Loan Officer expand their client base.
- Complete and maintain assigned checklists and files within designated deadlines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Experience in residential mortgage is preferred.
- Familiarity with Encompass software is advantageous.
- Knowledge of RESPA and general mortgage and consumer lending regulations is preferred.
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.
Pay Structure:
- Hourly rate of $18.00, with an additional $50.00 bonus per file processed.
- The pay range reflects various compensation factors, including candidate experience and location, while allowing for salary growth within the role.
