Position Summary:

The Loan Officer Assistant plays a crucial role in managing the schedules of loan officers and providing support to the Loan Partner. This position also oversees the branch lead tracker and maintains business relationships. The working hours for this role are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all appointments for loan officers, including new leads and follow-up meetings.
  • Handle incoming calls efficiently.
  • Assist the Loan Partner II with administrative tasks, such as document copying and faxing.
  • Organize regular weekly meetings based on branch performance metrics.
  • Achieve branch goals related to pre-qualifications and pre-approvals.
  • Participate in branch events to help the Loan Officer expand their client base.
  • Complete and maintain assigned checklists and files within designated deadlines.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in residential mortgage preferred.
  • Familiarity with Encompass software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of RESPA and general mortgage lending regulations and documentation preferred.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows operating systems.
