Position Overview: SDA Engineer

Role Summary:

As an SDA Engineer at EO Solutions Corp., you will be responsible for the design and implementation of advanced SDA hardware systems, including optical instruments for satellite detection and tracking. Your role will also involve mentoring our team in contemporary SDA methodologies, performing orbital data analysis, and engaging in pioneering projects. If you possess a robust background in SDA, particularly with hands-on experience in SDA hardware and optical systems, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and develop cutting-edge SDA hardware systems for effective satellite detection and tracking.

· Mentor and train team members on SDA methodologies, including the operation and design of optical instruments and other SDA technologies.

· Analyze data to ascertain satellite orbits and evaluate potential risks.

· Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to incorporate SDA solutions into larger initiatives.

· Provide technical expertise and support to ensure the successful execution of SDA projects.

· Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in SDA technology and practices.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Astrophysics, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

· At least 5 years of experience in space domain awareness or a closely related area.

· Demonstrated experience with SDA hardware systems, particularly optical instruments.

· Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MATLAB, STK, Python).

· Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

· US Citizenship required; security clearance is a plus.
