Role Summary:

As an SDA Engineer at EO Solutions Corp., you will be responsible for the design and implementation of sophisticated SDA hardware systems, including telescopes, aimed at satellite detection and tracking. Your role will also involve mentoring team members in contemporary SDA methodologies, performing orbital analysis, and engaging in pioneering projects. If you possess a robust background in SDA, with practical experience in SDA hardware and telescopes, and a passion for leadership and education, we invite you to consider this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy advanced SDA hardware systems for effective satellite detection and tracking.
  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on SDA methodologies, including the design and operation of telescopes and other SDA technologies.
  • Analyze data to ascertain satellite orbits and evaluate potential threats.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate SDA solutions into comprehensive projects.
  • Offer technical support and direction to ensure the successful execution of SDA initiatives.
  • Remain informed about the latest developments in SDA technology and practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Astrophysics, or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in space domain awareness or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience with SDA hardware systems, including telescopes.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., MATLAB, STK, Python).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • US Citizenship is required; security clearance is preferred.
