Team Recovery Ohio, LLC is a leading organization dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment for individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges in Northwest Ohio. We are currently in search of a Full-Time Recovery Housing Technician for the Third Shift. Ideal candidates will possess a strong motivation, compassion, and an energetic approach, along with the ability to adapt and resolve potential challenges.

Role Summary:

The Recovery Housing Technician plays a crucial role in supporting and supervising clients throughout their recovery journey. This position ensures that the living environment is safe, clean, and conducive to recovery. The Technician is responsible for managing the living space and ensuring the safety of individuals or groups within an addiction withdrawal management program.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Observing and guiding housing residents as they navigate their recovery process.
  • Conducting regular property rounds, including hourly checks on clients who are ambulatory.
  • Performing inspections of rooms and units, as well as conducting property assessments for new residents.
  • Preparing accommodations for new residents by cleaning and setting up rooms and beds.
  • Managing incoming calls to the housing facility and addressing any arising situations.
  • Effectively handling crisis or behavioral incidents as they occur.
  • Assisting with maintenance requests and ensuring the property is kept in a safe and functional condition.
  • Driving company vehicles, including multi-passenger vans, to transport clients to and from treatment activities.
  • Carrying out additional housing-related administrative and operational tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:

Candidates should possess the following:

  • Familiarity with the operations and requirements of recovery or sober-living environments.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in clinical documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Preferred experience in substance use disorder or mental health treatment.
  • Preferred experience in case management.
  • Preferred knowledge of ORH standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide immediate solutions.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the capacity to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License and insurance with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Availability to work Third Shift, weekends, and holidays.
Educational Background:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred certifications in First Aid/CPR, AED, BLS, and/or ALS (not required at the time of hire, but must agree to obtain upon employment).
  • Preferred certifications such as CPRS, CDCA, QMHS, and/or CPI.
