OVERVIEW:
The Aviation Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing designated aircraft maintenance operations by utilizing production timelines, workforce assessments, and financial data. This role involves managing comprehensive projects related to the upkeep, preventive care, or modification of aircraft.

Ensures product excellence while guaranteeing that maintenance activities and operations are executed in accordance with the relevant standards of the air carrier maintenance program and its inspection procedures manual.

Key Responsibilities:

Aligns maintenance initiatives with organizational objectives and performance targets.
Holds primary accountability for the management of the Aircraft Maintenance program.

Collaborates with Quality Assurance to ensure, within the constraints of the company repair station, that aircraft maintenance is conducted in compliance with approved Federal Aviation, Manufacturer, Customer, and company protocols and standards.

Evaluates customer programs and FAA regulations to confirm adherence.

Oversees the comprehensive maintenance, preventive maintenance, or modification of, or authorize and return to service any aircraft or component thereof.

Facilitates the communication of all critical information, including operational, risk, safety, and quality aspects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
A minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in commercial aircraft maintenance and/or MRO is required.
At least three (3) years of supervisory experience in aircraft maintenance is necessary.
Airframe, or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:


While executing the responsibilities of this position, the individual will be required to sit, stand, and walk; utilize their hands and arms; and communicate verbally or audibly; and focus on nearby objects.

The individual may need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
