Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Aviation Technical Services. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft and components, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform incoming preliminary inspections on aircraft or components to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify documentation of maintenance performed, including FARs, ATS Repair Station Manual, and customer's Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP).
  • Conduct final buy-back of maintenance performed and ensure airworthiness releases on serviceable tags, aircraft logbooks, and FAA form 337.
  • Perform in-progress inspections, including clearance-to-close, torque verifications, dimensional checks, and rigs.
  • Conduct audits of ATS facilities to ensure compliance with FAR and safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Airframe Services experience with a minimum of three (3) years heavy aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • F.A.A. Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License required.
  • NDI and previous QC experience preferred.
  • Prior leadership experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn airline customer RII requirements.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools, aids, and devices used in determining tolerances, specifications, and progress.
