Role Summary:
The Global Interchange & Pricing – Systems team spearheads the technical direction, solution development, enablement, and upkeep of interchange programs for Visa's global operations.

We are in search of an Analyst to join our team. This individual contributor position acts as a bridge between Business and Strategy teams and internal development units. The Analyst will manage low complexity projects and coordinate the implementation and associated activities of designated initiatives with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster and enhance collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and internal partners.
  • Assess business requirements and priorities to assist the team in formulating solutions and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the direct manager to translate business needs into actionable plans.
  • Oversee the enablement of interchange fee programs, including registration, configuration tasks, and dissemination of implementation guides to strategic partners and their acquirers.
  • Provide expert guidance to internal and external clients regarding interchange fee program criteria and processing logic.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of commitments.
  • Deliver high-quality responses, ensuring prompt interaction and service accuracy.
  • Set priorities, influence stakeholders, and manage expectations effectively.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve business and processing challenges, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Keep the manager informed with regular updates on assigned tasks.
  • Stay informed on new regulations, products, services, and industry trends to support Visa's strategic objectives and client initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Visa's core processing capabilities through training and self-study.
  • Define business requirements and review technical designs, testing documents, and user acceptance logs to ensure compliance.
  • Create, update, and review technical documentation for clients.
  • Maintain group databases, templates, and internal workflows.
  • Ensure team training materials are current.
  • Manage diverse assignments and proactively seek appropriate actions.
  • Independently lead and manage assigned projects.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams both locally and globally.

Work Environment:
This position is hybrid, allowing employees to alternate between remote and office work. Hybrid employees are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week, based on business needs.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 0 years of relevant experience with an Advanced degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD/PhD).

Preferred Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in the card payment industry, card processing, or financial services. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with SQL and Microstrategy tools is advantageous. Ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions, with a self-starter mentality and a strong attention to detail.

Additional Information:
This position may require travel 5-10% of the time and will be performed in an office setting, necessitating the ability to sit and stand at a desk and communicate effectively.
