Position Summary

Role Responsibilities
This role reports directly to the Chief Information Officer and entails leading the Legal & Compliance IT division. You will be tasked with providing visionary leadership, motivation, and strategic direction to ensure that IT initiatives align with business objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Formulating and executing technology strategies and roadmaps that align with business goals in the Legal & Compliance domain.
- Building and nurturing a high-performing team through effective hiring, training, and fostering a diverse workplace.
- Collaborating with business units to establish a technical strategy for advanced cloud solutions.
- Engaging with executive leadership to set priorities and timelines.
- Researching and implementing industry best practices to enhance business and technology operations.
- Overseeing the preparation of business cases and needs assessments for application portfolios.
- Creating an integration strategy to ensure a unified user interface and centralized information source.
- Leading system-related projects and initiatives, ensuring effective coordination among functional and technical teams.
- Managing the support and maintenance of corporate systems.
- Providing leadership for large-scale transformational programs across various functional teams, including third-party vendors.
- Mentoring and developing a team of analysts and engineers globally.
- Keeping executive management informed of project progress and challenges through comprehensive reporting.
- Managing workforce planning, budget development, and tracking to meet project objectives.
Work Environment
This position operates in a hybrid model, allowing for a blend of remote and in-office work. Employees are expected to be present in the office for a set number of days each week, based on departmental needs.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
• A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree.
• Proven technology leadership experience, particularly in building and managing high-performance teams.
• Extensive knowledge of corporate applications and their deployment in large organizations.
• Experience in planning and implementing business solutions for Legal, Risk, Compliance, or HR functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Over 15 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree.
• Significant experience in technology leadership roles with a focus on team growth and IT direction.
• Familiarity with ITIL, Six Sigma, or Agile methodologies.
• Strong multitasking abilities to manage various priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical strategies to diverse audiences.
Additional Information
This position may require occasional travel and involves standard office duties, including communication and operation of office equipment.
