Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Client Incentives team at Visa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client incentive contracts, analyzing executed contract terms, and determining accounting treatment based on Visa policy and procedure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client incentive contracts for North America, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and determining accounting treatment based on Visa policy and procedure.
  • Analyze executed incentive contract terms to assess Visa's contractual obligations and determine appropriate accounting treatment.
  • Review proforma to ensure accuracy of contract interpretation and application of Visa's accounting policy.
  • Setup incentive contracts in Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) system per contract terms, ensuring that all key obligations have been accurately addressed.
  • Manage, track, and process contractual payments per terms of contracts accurately and timely for all regions.
  • Review on-going contract performance and update future performance/amortization schedules as needed.
  • Liaise with Sales, Strategy, Interchange, FP&A, Legal, clients, and other stakeholders to provide support around deal structuring, accounting guidance, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Responsible for inquiries and issue resolutions related to the assigned contracts.
  • Coordinate with the bigger Client Incentive Operations team, understanding various deal structures and ensuring a consistent business process applied globally for similar contract structures.
  • Drive process improvement through Lean Six Sigma projects with key stakeholders, participating in in-person discussions to identify and implement improvements.
  • Interact with various levels of management across the organization as well as with external clients, requiring strong leadership and interpersonal skills for cross-functional projects.
  • Support ad-hoc analysis, contract drafting, and projects as needed.
  • Train and provide guidance to junior analysts.
  • Ensure key production metrics for the month are met.
  • Leverage Power Query/Power BI to automate reports.
Requirements
  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree in business/accounting or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD in audit, finance, accounting, or statistical reporting field.
  • Chartered Accountant or CPA preferred but not required.
  • Audit or accounting experience.
  • Detail-oriented, conscientious, thorough, and highly organized.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to function well independently as well as in a team, and comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business analysis skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel, familiar with Oracle-based applications is a plus.
  • Ability to write and working experience with Power Query to automate reporting preferred.
Additional Information

This is a hybrid position, with employees alternating time between remote and office work. The position requires travel 5-10% of the time. The incumbent will sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $118,500.00 to $171,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
