Position Overview:
ManTech is in search of a Systems Training Lead to facilitate our forthcoming engagement with the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN) under the auspices of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). This initiative aims to cultivate networks of innovators dedicated to developing novel solutions for national security challenges.

The NSIN, alongside its mission partners, is actively addressing the technological and operational hurdles encountered by international allies, which may include foreign nations and global organizations, through Security Cooperation (SC).

SC encompasses DoD-administered Security Assistance (SA) programs, allowing the Government to offer defense materials, military education, and training, as well as other defense-related services (e.g., Foreign Military Sales (FMS)) to further national policies and objectives.

Given the dynamic strategic landscape for NSIN and its collaborators, there is a pressing need for solutions that can be swiftly deployed to respond to evolving partnerships, alliances, and global events.

Key Responsibilities:
The Training Lead will oversee and manage all training-related functions for the contract. This role includes the responsibility for directing employee training and development initiatives. The Lead will be tasked with:

  • Identifying training requirements for various organizations.
  • Supervising the activities of trainers.
  • Creating effective employee training programs.
  • Coordinating training for all Technical Direction Letters generated during the contract.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify, candidates must possess a TS clearance with eligibility for SCI at the time of proposal submission, along with experience in designing and implementing DoD training programs. A minimum of one year of experience executing training programs related to Security Cooperation (SC) or FMS is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have at least three years of experience at or above the DoD Combatant or Joint Command level, along with experience in developing and delivering specific SC or FMS training courses aimed at both domestic and international audiences. A training certification from a U.S. military training command (e.g., U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) or Naval Service Training Command (NSTC)) in training development, writing, and instruction is also preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to remain in a stationary position for 50% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated compensation range for this position is $84,000-$140,100. Various factors can influence the final salary, including contract wage determination, relevant work experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications.
