We are in search of a proficient Cloud Infrastructure Specialist with extensive knowledge in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to support a significant Government initiative.

The successful candidate will oversee the management of our client's Cloud infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of all systems within the Cloud ecosystem while utilizing AWS technologies to enhance performance and scalability.


Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and sustain the client's cloud infrastructure, encompassing EC2 Instances, networks, and cloud services.

• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and VPCs.

• Monitor system performance and perform regular security assessments and audits to maintain data integrity and security.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ascertain technical requirements and implement solutions that align with business objectives.

• Provide technical assistance and guidance to end-users, resolving issues promptly.

• Implement best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and system redundancy.

• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in cloud computing and IT systems administration.

Qualifications:

We are actively seeking Cloud Infrastructure Specialists with a minimum of 11 years of experience.

A Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred in relevant fields, including:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, particularly with AWS cloud technologies.

• Strong grasp of systems administration principles, protocols, and security best practices.

• Experience conducting security assessments using various tools, analyzing results, and addressing findings in the Cloud environment.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with a diverse range of Cloud technologies and architectural solutions (AWS, Google, Azure, Oracle, etc.) is advantageous.

• Broad understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the Systems Administrator domain.

• Knowledge of contemporary systems engineering principles and cloud design concepts.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash is a plus.

• Experience in SecDevOps with automation capabilities is preferred.

• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are desirable but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits:

Full-Time Salary Range:
$239,140

This range is based on our market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
