Key Responsibilities:

PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THE ROLE


We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Retail Operations team as a Senior Retail Operations Analyst.

This role serves as the main point of contact for escalations and facilitates cross-departmental communication within the organization.

The Senior Analyst will oversee daily workflow activities for the team and provide performance reporting on key deliverables.

Additionally, this position will lead and mentor team members while promoting collaboration across the team.

The Senior Analyst will also spearhead process improvement initiatives and lead training sessions for team members in their designated workflow areas.


KEY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES


Team Leadership and Development: Provide guidance and constructive feedback to team members, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Oversee daily operations to ensure high-quality, timely work that aligns with organizational goals.

Communicate the team's progress, challenges, and achievements to management, reporting on both targeted and achieved deliverables.

Strategically assess the need for system or process modifications and adjust team workloads based on evolving business requirements.

Assist management in creating and executing plans for communication, leadership development, technical training, and enhancing industry knowledge.
Customer Experience and Operational Duties: Ensure a seamless customer experience by managing key functions within the order-to-cash process, including:

- Overseeing data management for competitive pricing and accurate billing.

- Enrolling customers with utilities to guarantee service availability. - Processing contracts to ensure compliance with regulations. - Managing customer payments for accurate account postings and revenue recognition. - Addressing customer inquiries promptly and accurately.
Cross-Functional Communication: Proactively communicate issues and updates to team members, leadership, and stakeholders, emphasizing customer-related information. Collaborate with team members to ensure cohesive customer support and knowledge sharing. Identify and communicate workflow concerns to prevent issues that may affect multiple departments.

Support indirect leadership responsibilities through effective communication and coaching.


Project Management and Innovation: Challenge existing processes to drive automation and improvements, focusing on sustainable solutions. Leverage expertise to collaborate with project teams, IT, and cross-functional groups for successful outcomes. Identify and articulate business requirements based on changing needs, and develop testing protocols for system enhancements and issue resolutions.


Problem Solving and Compliance: Utilize analytical skills to investigate discrepancies in workflows and recommend appropriate resolutions.

Evaluate alternatives and exercise discretion in resolving customer issues, collaborating with other teams as necessary.


Policy Adherence: Maintain a thorough understanding of business, regulatory, and market policies, ensuring workflow processes are compliant. Ensure adherence to all relevant controls and company policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; or a combination of education and experience totaling 6 years.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).

Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.

Ability to independently analyze data and navigate complex scenarios.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Experience in the retail energy sector or regulated energy industry is preferred.

Familiarity with CRM and order-to-cash systems is advantageous.

Knowledge of market EDI transactions is a plus.

Technical proficiency in SQL and related business applications is desirable.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Technology, or Supply Chain Management.

Experience in the retail energy sector or regulated energy industry.

Familiarity with CRM and order-to-cash systems.

Knowledge of UDC/ISO market EDI transactions.

Advanced technical skills in SQL and emerging technologies.
