Position OverviewThe Endpoint Support Analyst addresses a range of technical challenges, from intermediate to complex levels. This role plays a crucial part in developing and refining knowledge base documentation, enhancing the understanding of our support framework.
The Analyst is responsible for thorough validation of new hardware to guarantee an optimal user experience. Additionally, the Analyst ensures system stability and proactively identifies opportunities for enhancement. Effective communication is vital in this role, facilitating accurate and timely interactions across various support tiers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced Tier 2 technical support for a variety of endpoints, addressing issues related to desktops, laptops, tablets, VoIP phones, and other peripherals connected to our network.
- Install a range of approved organizational applications, troubleshoot installation challenges, and ensure seamless functionality.
- Specialize in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of endpoints, printers, and other desktop computing components, ensuring smooth integration and operation.
- Contribute to, review, and validate the accuracy of established knowledge base articles and documentation for effective incident and task resolution.
- Act as a dedicated resource for organizational project initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration.
A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, along with 3-5 years of experience in IT/IS customer service and/or technical support. Alternatively, a High School diploma or equivalent with 7 or more years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Preferred certifications include:
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA N+
- CompTIA S+
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)
- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT)
