Job Description

Overview

Tarana Wireless is seeking a seasoned Quality Systems Leader to drive the development and implementation of our quality management systems and processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our products and services, aligning with our company's mission to accelerate the pace of bringing fast and affordable internet access to underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Management: Develop and implement quality management systems, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Oversee the development and implementation of supplier quality management systems, including audit processes, continuous improvement programs, and first-article process development.
  • Corrective Action: Develop and implement corrective actions to address supplier problems and failures, ensuring that products and services meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Training and Leadership: Provide training and leadership to employees at all levels of the company to build understanding and create a quality culture.
  • Quality Metrics: Develop and maintain quality metrics, track performance, and drive corrective actions to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of quality professionals to achieve quality excellence.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (MS degree preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience (10+ years) in Quality Management Leadership in Electronics Manufacturing environment, preferably in Wireless Communications or Networking.
  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, effective communication and collaboration skills, and passion for delivering high-quality products that exceed customer needs.
