About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Director of Operations to join our team at Methodist Health System. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and opening of our new Methodist Celina Medical Center, as well as managing several corporate functions and projects at a system level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the new Methodist Celina Medical Center, including short- and long-term goals and objectives
  • Create a sound business plan for the hospital, including program development, facilities management, operating efficiencies, and physician resources
  • Work with corporate construction to design and build the facility, ensuring an efficient and aesthetically pleasing physical design
  • Develop a master plan for the campus, considering growth and expansion for a hospital of beds
  • Manage the system laboratory function and oversee its operations
  • Serve as the system liaison to the DeSoto SNF and assess its feasibility for duplication in other parts of the metroplex
  • Participate in system-level committees and lead negotiations of system-level contracts as assigned by the President/COO
  • Participate in other system-wide growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions
  • Maintain professional growth and development, attending and serving on professional and civic organizations as the hospital's representative
Professional Experience and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of operational experience in healthcare
  • Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration required
  • Demonstrated success in achieving objectives within a multi-organizational healthcare system
  • Experience providing effective leadership in a competitive market
  • Demonstrated ability to improve the organization's overall performance and enhance internal and external relationships
  • Strong executive presence, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and a charismatic leadership style
