Job Summary:

The Event Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing banquet and front-of-house operations in our bustling, upscale venue. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering outstanding service. Strong leadership, effective labor management, and adept conflict resolution skills are essential for success in this role.

In this capacity, you will mentor and guide your team to ensure a consistently exceptional experience for our guests and a positive workplace culture.

Pay: $80,000 / year

plus performance bonuses

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of banquets and restaurant, including staff oversight, scheduling, and training.
  • Ensure exceptional service standards are upheld consistently.
  • Monitor inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Implement restaurant policies to comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Promote a positive work environment and support staff development.
  • Collaborate with culinary teams for seamless service delivery.
  • Address guest inquiries and feedback professionally.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic marketing and promotions.
  • Oversee financial management of banquet operations.
  • Manage social media initiatives to enhance brand visibility.
  • Lead a team committed to delivering outstanding food and service.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in a high-volume restaurant or event setting.
  • Experience in managing banquet operations for private events.
  • At least 4 years of progressive experience in restaurant or banquet roles.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory and cost management.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
