Rigger- This role involves executing rigging tasks within a hospitality or convention center setting while adhering to safety and quality standards as per all trade, Encore property guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Reports to the Lead Rigger or Rigging Coordinator.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 500+ hours of hands-on rigging experience
- Basic Rigging certification required
- Lift Certification
- Experience in lift operations
- Ground rigging experience
- High rigging experience with harness

Lead Rigger- This position entails performing rigging tasks in a hospitality or convention center environment while maintaining safety and quality standards according to all trade, Encore property guidelines, and standard operating procedures. Act as the primary liaison for venue clients, providing CAD diagrams of assigned facilities to prospective clients and assisting current clients with rigging arrangements. Engage in hands-on rigging while supervising rigging team members during events. Reports to the Rigging Coordinator.

- Previous supervisory experience of a rigging team

Rigging Supervisor- Responsible for the safe installation and operation of rigging elements within a specific property or a collection of properties in their city, serving as the primary point of contact for clients. This role includes performing specific rigging and overhead safety tasks and supervising the rigging activities of both internal and external riggers. Collaborate with third-party production companies on all incoming events requiring rigging services.

- 4+ years of onsite rigging experience
- ETCP Certification preferred
- Experience in lift operations
- Ground rigging experience
- Previous supervisory experience of a rigging team

Rigging Manager - The Rigging Manager oversees the management and safe execution of rigging events in an Encore-approved rigging venue. This role includes approving all rigging designs based on structural data and weight load limits for both internal and external rigging production needs. Responsibilities include scheduling labor and supervising team members to ensure compliance with rigging standard operating procedures. Reports to the Area Manager, Rigging.

Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in rigging within the entertainment, theatrical, or production environment, including experience as both ground and overhead rigger with Encore and its Rigging team.
- 2+ years of effective management of rigging teams, preferably with 10+ Riggers
- ETCP certification preferred
- Lift certification
- Experience in lift operations
- Ground operation experience
- High rigging experience with harness
- Proficient in CAD software (Auto Sketch, VectorWorks, AutoCAD, LD Assistant, or similar)
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with clients and leadership teams.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand, and/or dust. Working conditions may vary from moderately quiet to noisy. Team members will utilize high-end audio-visual equipment and electrical components and may be exposed to heights via lifts and ladders. Flexibility to work across multiple hotel locations is required. Working hours may include irregular schedules and on-call status, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore.
